Anybody know the low-down on this website? Googled my phone number and there I was. Not too cool. Worst part is, based on the info reported, it certainly wasn't me, just my number, and a (seldom used) variation of my name.

After some digging, turns out I'm on nationalblacklist.com. Irritated for a whole different reason now! While badboyreport is irritating because it attempts to publicize behavior, natl blacklist is apparently used by providers to blacklist bad clients. It's actually a great idea. I've never been less than courteous, never a no-show, always call ahead if I have to reschedule. I'm certain I'm being confused with someone else. One report claims Siri interrupted a session by saying "recording stopped", which is actually hilarious despite being completely disrespectful. Thing is, I don't have Siri. . .

And this EleanorSo11 who is making the reports, has reported hundreds of people all over the country. Seems fishy. Wish I could get in touch with here to straighten it out. Suggestions? (other than disposable phone, google phone, and aliases?)

I could not access datails on NationalBlacklist because it requires a fee. Looks like it is designed for madamns, pimps and professional escorts.

I looked at BadBoyReport and looks like it is available to whoever wants to vent. So, I can understand how some malicious, vendictive and erroneous info can get there. Wanna sue?

I noticed the EleanorSo11 name a lot. Perhaps that is the screen name of the owner of the site. The name is associated with a lot of posts across a vast geography. So, it is unreasonable to think that each of the posts is from EleanorSo11's personal experience.

Thanks for pointing out these sites. I am curious about them from a geek perspective; but, I probably will not spend any more time on them. Good luck to you.

Well if you spooked a lady by keeping your phone out in the open or were acting suspicious such as snooping around I can see why you're on there.

There's a lot of sick people out there. Better safe than sorry they were probably figuring.
You hobbyists aren't allowed on those sites for a reason & the people who run them have good ways of keeping you out.
Furthermore most of you have no problem outing a ladies location so there's that...

The only reports I don't trust on them are the NCNS's.

Also I wouldn't try to sue that'll put you out quite a bit from your hobby funds.
FYI I've found most of my clients phone numbers on there and still see them. I didn't see yours junkies but a variation that was similar. Sometimes search engines are flawed. Something to think about

I wouldn't double book someone I always inform " you've been bumped due to your lateness without calling" it happens in the comedy & music scene to me all the time last minute but you know that's been going around lately with the DIY's and the newer providers. But you guys put up with it. Foolish as heck!
I mean who stays at a place whilst other guys are sitting there? Talk about awkward & trashy (on the lady) .
For me I like being fresh and CLEAN for a gent!

My scheduler gives them 5 minutes tops. If no call by then I give it to someone else that's already been to me.

I called one provider and booked an appt. She gave me a long lecture, being my first time with her, that if I was a no show she would never book me again. I told her I understood and it would not be a problem. I was half right.

I got there 15 minutes early and waited in the car for the appt time and went to the door. Locked! Called, no answer. 30 minutes and about 10 calls later I left. But I agreed to her standard and followed through with it: She was my first time and she was a no show. I have never gone back.

After revisiting this subject (hoping it would go away on its own), I found some information that explains some things.
Badboyreport.com directs "victims" to a long list of websites that will arbitrate removal from the site (as their policy is only the poster can remove a post).
Turns out badboyreport shares an IP address with the following:
Internetreputation.com
REMOVESLANDER.COM

I'm lacking in internet smarts, but my assumption is the same company that is posting malicious reports turns around and makes a buck when you pay to have it removed. Isn't that blackmail?
